RAILWAY PROTECTION FORCE, EASTERN RAILWAY RESCUES 88 CHILDREN AND ASSISTS 91 DISTRESSED PASSENGERS IN NOVEMBER 2023

Railway Protection Force (RPF)/Eastern Railway plays a pro-active role to provide all out security to the rail users ranging from rescuing teenaged boys & girls, arresting touts, providing assistance and recovery of left behind belongings. They have also made commendable works to extend guidance & assistance to the rail users besides their task of ensuring security to the passengers.

In a commendable display of commitment to passenger safety and well-being, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Eastern Railway successfully rescued 88 children during the month of November 2023. The vigilant efforts of RPF personnel led to the recovery of 43 boys and 45 girls from various stations within Eastern Railway's jurisdiction.

Each rescued child handed over to their respective families/relatives on proper verification & documentation. Those without immediate familial connections were seamlessly handed over to the appropriate child helpline for further guidance and care.

In addition to the child rescues, the RPF provided crucial assistance to 91 distressed passengers, actively safeguarding their precious lives. This timely intervention reflects the unwavering dedication of Eastern Railway's RPF to ensuring the security and well-being of all passengers.
