In an effort to accommodate the surge in passenger demand during the winter season, Railway is pleased to announce the introduction of a special train between Malda Town & Anand Vihar. This initiative aims to alleviate the challenges faced by passengers unable to secure tickets on regular trains due to overwhelming waitlist.

The special train is strategically scheduled to ensure punctuality, offering a reliable mode of transportation for passengers to reach their destination without delays. Passengers, aboarding the special train, can expect a high level of comfort & convenience, as the Railway authorities have ensured the availability of all necessary facilities. This proactive step by Indian Railways reflects its commitment to customer satisfaction and the seamless facilitation of travel, especially times of increased demand.

03435 Malda Town - Anand Vihar Terminus Special will leave Malda Town at 09:30 hrs on 18.12.2023 & 25.12.2023 to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 14:10 hrs on the next day and 03436 Anand Vihar Terminus - Malda Town Special will leave Anand Vihar Terminus at 18:00 hrs on 19.12.2023 & 26.12.2023 to reach Malda Town at 23:30 hrs on the next day.

The train will stop at New Farakka, Barharwa, Sahibganj, Pirpainti, Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur, Sultanganj, Jamalpur & Abhaipur stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction enroute in both the directions. 4384 berths will be generated by running this special train.

The train will have general second class, sleeper class & Air-conditioned accommodation. Booking of tickets for 03435 Malda Town - Anand Vihar Special will be available through PRS & Internet. Special charges in addition to normal mail/express will be realized. Concessional booking is not allowed. Tatkal quota is not available.
